Job Description

Accountant - onsite 5x days per week/miami office

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and monitoring monthly account analysis and reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts and resolving reconciling items and issues noted in a timely manner.
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions.
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow and other reports (including consolidated reports for multi-entity organizations).
• Preparing detailed financial reports and presentations for executive leadership and board members.
• Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
• Functioning as interdepartmental liaison in regard to accounting policies and procedures.
• Preparing various audit schedules as requested

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience is required. Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
• 5+ years accounting experience required
• Experience with SAP
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines; strong time management skills needed
• Experience in Manufacturing Companies is desirable
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and under pressure

• English, Spanish required (Portuguese is a plus)- want them to have meetings with Brazil
